BEATS FOR BAGHDAD

A documentary-concert film that provides unique insight into the workings of Baghdad and its people in the days leading up to the first days of, “Shock and Awe” in March 2003. Jerry Quickley, host of Beneath the Surface on KPFK radio FM 90.7
will be present for Q & A.

Filmmakers Roberto Rodriguez and Patrisia Gonzalez will screen and discuss a tri-lingual documentary which focuses on origins and migrations of the Uto-Nahuatl people and their connections with other native peoples of the continent.

JUSTICE FOR THE
WOMEN OF JUAREZ
March 19th, Sat. 5 to 8 pm
The event will feature personal testimony by Patricia Cervantes Pertenece, of Justicia Para Nuestras Hijas, the mother of Neyra Azucena Cervantes, who disappeared May 13TH, 2003 in the City of Chihuahua. Plus Jessica Marques of the Mexico Solidarity Network.

BREAST AND CERVICAL CANCER BASICS
